Hey guys! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was pretty good, I spent most of it reflecting on things and being thankful for the blessings around me.
I managed to make play dough from scratch and took these cute pics of Jacinda's creation (the red sequins were my idea, but she lovingly sprinkled them) -
(sigh) I love my kids! I'm looking forward to creating an album page with these. Here's the recipe I used (found through www.creativekidsathome.com) for the playdough:
Cooked Playdough (flour and salt)
3 cups flour
1.5 cups salt
6 tsp cream of tarter
3 tbsp oil
3 cups water
1. Dissolve salt in the water.
2. Pour all ingredients into a large pot.
3. Stir constantly over medium heat until a ball forms by pulling away from the sides.
4. Knead the dough mixture until the texture matches playdough (1-2 minutes).
Store in plastic container. Should last for at least 3 month
And here's a page design I did recently -
I'll be back later on in the week, and keep your eye out on the how to post for my journey back album (Volume 1)
Have an awesome start to your week! Work hard and rest well.
Awwww they are seriously cute play photos, I look forward to seeing the page you create with them.
