Through a House Photographer's lens...
After six years of calling this place our home, it's almost time to say goodbye. Oh! I am so going to cry when I shut the door to this place for the last time.
where are you going?

Hi Cinzia, most probably out of Auckland. It is getting really expensive to live here and we want more for our money. Thanks for stopping by!

So ein wunderschönes Haus, es ist schade es zu verlassen. Aber ich bin mit absolut sicher, du schafft es auch auf dem neuen Platz ein sehr gemütliches Nest für euch einzurichten!
Merry Christmas and all the best for you and your family!

I wish you good luck in finding a new place to call home. You might surprise yourself when it comes time to leave. I had that experience about five years ago when we left our house and town of 23 years. We had two boys in that house, I was expecting the tears to flow. However, when the house was empty I no longer felt an attachment to it - the stuff in it that made it our home was gone. I was so ready to start new. It was my husband who kept "lingering" in the empty house, saying he was checking to be sure we didn't leave anything. No one would have guessed we'd have a role reversal in that moment!
No regrets - Lori

It is true: this is your house and your home and it is beautiful.
But remember: HOME IS WHERE YOUR HEART IS
You will find another place to call your home.

I am speechless! This house is so very beautiful! And I also enjoyed your house tour. This proves that you just have to pay attention to details to make your house wonderful and elegant. But it is sad that you have to leave it. How so?

Wow, the house is very lovely! I love the simple setting of the living room, which made it look spacious. The bathroom is very cozy, and I love the wood flooring and walls. The mirror on the side also made it appear bigger than it is. ;)

Ah, so you plan to sell that home? It does seem like a shame to sell such a beautiful place, but look at it this way: once you get a new home, you'll be able to give it the same treatment and style as your previous abode. So good luck with house-hunting, and find the new place that you will call home!

I understand what you feel. It's an achievement to own a house, especially one this big and beautiful. I actually liked that balcony of yours. It must be relaxing to drink some coffee there with nature just beside you, giving you a pleasurable view.
